  • Programming Languages – Python, Java, SQL)
  • Networking: How data moves and vulnerabilities
  • Operating System: Linux and Windows systems for system-based hacking
  • Cybersecurity Courses: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) and CompTIA Security+.
  • Practice Platforms: TryHackMe, Hack The Box, CTFs – Capture The Flag.

Careers in Hacking

  • Ethical Hacker/Penetration Tester: Test and Secure Systems, Find and Fix Vulnerabilities.
  • Security Analyst is seeking and finding malware and cyber threats, improving defenses.
  • This is a Malware Analyst who investigates and helps to counter malware attacks.
  • Cyber Security Consultant: The consultant advises organizations on best security practices.
  • A Security Engineer is in charge of designing and maintaining secure systems.

Hackers’ salaries vary based on the field of expertise, location, and job type:

  • Entry: Ethical hackers will earn around $60,000 annually.
  • Mid-level: Experienced professionals will make around $90,000-$120,000.
  • High-level: The best experts in high-level roles can make $150,000+.
